About the role
The Livelihood Program Associate would be responsible to manage programmatic interventions taking place in the community/field for the accomplishment of the project objectives. S/He would be the face of the organization in the community for the program and will be lead for all the beneficiaries’ training and financial service support.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Telephonic call to beneficiaries on workshops of financial inclusion for the identified women.
- Mobilization and identification of new beneficiaries for the production unit.
- Telephonic call for the participation of women in workshops like business Development, Life skills training, financial literacy, and Special days.
- Identified leaders from existing beneficiaries and some from the community for initiating project activities and
- Networking with nearby NGOs, banks and other agencies.
- Identification of new SHGS in the Field and nearby community of the project and linkages them with bank with team.
- Preparing SHG women for working in the production unit.
- Preparing drafts of new items introduced in the production unit also helps women to prepare the items.
- Capturing pictures of existing beneficiaries from their home/field while working on their assets.
- Participating voluntarily in other programs assigned by the management.
- Identified new vendors for purchasing raw materials.
- Participating in Impact assessment of existing beneficiaries.
Experience & Competencies Required
- Must have a minimum of 2-3 years of work experience in community-related projects. Candidates with experience in the livelihood field will be preferred.
- Post-graduation/Graduation in commerce, science, social work, or an equivalent degree from a reputed university.
- Must have a working knowledge of MS Office (Excel and PowerPoint).
- Must have good verbal and written communication skills.
- Must have good knowledge of banking and government schemes.
- Must have the ability to work independently, manage time effectively, be flexible, and work with minimal supervision.
- Must be highly organized, disciplined, and self-motivated; able to set, manage, and meet deadlines, and manage multiple tasks with strict attention to detail.
- Must be aware of and understand the issues of underprivileged communities, along with the market demand and supply system.
- Knowledge of forming Self-Help Groups (SHG), financial literacy, etc., would be preferred.
Remuneration : 3 Lakhs onwards (depending on competency and experience)
